Here are a few reasons why thousands of people take their BLS recertification course with us each year.

1. Students receive the official American Heart Association BLS for the Healthcare Provider certification card on the day of the class.
This is a great feature since most companies mail out the certification card. It could take up to 3 weeks for you to get your BLS card. However, since we are an American Heart Association Training Center, you will be able to go home with the card in your hand.

2. Cancellation Policy. You can cancel your class at any time for any reason.
Be sure to double check the cancellation policy before registering for a class. Most CPR companies in Santa Clara County demand payment before you arrive and if you cancel with less than 7 days notice, you would not receive a refund. However, we do not ask for payment until you show up on the day of the BLS course. You can cancel at any time.

3. Uncertified courses/Non American Heart Association courses.
Be careful. There are a few CPR training schools that teach unlicensed courses or non-AHA BLS renewal courses. Each week, we have students who attended a course with another company and the card was not accepted.

4. Our American Heart Association License is California-20784.
Safety Training Seminars is an official American Heart Association BLS Renewal Training Center.

5. We are a member of the San Jose/Santa Clara Chamber of Commerce and BBB.

How to spot a fake BLS Renewal Course

Each week we have a few students who attended a BLS recertification course from another company in San Jose and it was not accepted at their workplace since it was not an official American Heart Association BLS renewal class. I am sure you would not want to attend two trainings and pay for two trainings so here is a quick guide to protect yourself.

Is the course only online? If the course is done only on the computer, it is a fake. The American Heart Association does not offer any courses that are taught only over the computer. Do not get fooled by this internet scam.

Do not pay for the course until arrival. And ask to see the actual certification card before paying for the course.
There are some companies that say they are American Heart Association compliant or follow AHA guidelines. That is very different from issuing an actual American Heart Association BLS card which is required for anyone in the medical or healthcare field.
